Inside SHAMS — the first fragrance
Where the idea began, and the notes that hold it together.
SHAMS started with a question: what if a bottle held more than a fragrance? What if it carried a name?
Our first composition opens with grapefruit and bergamot — the sun, sharpened to a point. The middle drifts into tobacco and oud, warm and slow. The base settles into cedar and leather, the way a memory does. It is unisex by design — a scent shaped to match a person, not a category.
Every SHAMS bottle is filled and sealed by hand in our Dubai house. There are no production runs of thousands. Each piece carries the name it was made for, hand-engraved in real gold, then shipped to the person who chose it.
We call it SHAMS — Arabic for sun — because that is the feeling we wanted in glass: warmth that arrives, lingers, and is unmistakably yours.
